HOW TO APPLY

Submit the following:

  1. Completed application. Click here to download the printable application.
  2. An official transcript of your high school record mailed directly from the office of a recognized high school, certifying graduation and a minimum of 16 units completed. The high school equivalent (G.E.D.) will be considered individually.
  3. An official transcript of all college or Bible School work sent directly from the office of the respective institution or institutions.
  4. Medical examination.
  5. Photograph of applicant.
  6. A brief statement of your salvation experience. A brief statement of your objective and if you feel God would have you enter a particular field of Christian service.
  7. The application fee must be sent with the application. This fee is not refundable. 
  8. Have references mail their referral form directly to the college.

ADMISSIONS POLICIES

  • Recommendations

    Recommendation forms are sent to three individuals named by the appli-cant on the application for admission in this catalog. They should include the student's pastor, a former educator, and an employer or businessman. The form is designed to reflect the character, personality, and activities of the applicant.

  • Admittance Policy

    All candidates for admission must give satisfactory evidence of knowing Christ as Lord and Saviour. They should have a genuine desire to be obedient to the will of God. Candidates must demonstrate good character, personal in-tegrity, and academic ability. 


    Students are admitted to Bethel Baptist College without regard to race, color, or national origin. 

  • Academic Requirements

    A limited number of applicants will be admitted without a high school diploma provided they meet the following requirements: 

    1. They must be above the ordinary high school age.
    2. They must be capable of meeting the academic standards of Bethel Baptist College. 
    3. They must pursue the diploma or the G.E.D. equivalent.

    It is preferred that the applicant submit scores from the American College Test (A.C.T.) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (S.A.T.). Information on these tests may be secured from a high school guidance counselor, or directly from the American College Testing Program, Box 168, Iowa City, Iowa. 

  • Transfers

    Students transferring from other colleges should request an official transcript from each college attended since high school. A transcript must be sent directly to Bethel Baptist College from the previous institution. 


    Credit will be given for satisfactory work (C or above) which corresponds to the curriculum of Bethel Baptist College provided the work was taken in a recognized college or university. All students must complete a minimum of one full year in residence at Bethel Baptist College. The last semester of work must be taken at Bethel Baptist College.

  • Returning Students

    Students returning to the college  from previous years must have made sat-isfactory settlement of their accounts at the business office before being admitted.
